February 07 2005 -- Blister Entertainment will be attending the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco on March 7 - 9, 2005. Blister will also be present at the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) Wireless 2005. Look for us at the Navteq and Lucent pavilions. Paul Poutanen, president of Blister Entertainment, will be presenting his thoughts at C5's Mobile Multiplayer, 3D and Location-based Games conference in Barcelona on April 14 - 15, 2005. This event will showcase current development and technologies in wireless mobile gaming, and will be attended by some of the world's leading mobile game developers and publishers. During the Location Based Gaming portion of the conference, Paul will be discussing approaches and strategies to the design and development of location based games, as well as the technologies behind the games.

 

June 2004 -- Blister Entertainment was one of three winners in NEWT Labs’ Leapfrog contest. The contest recognizes companies with emerging technologies for wireless devices, applications, and systems products.
